The tour begins in the industrial city of Casablanca. Located in the central western part of Morocco, Casablanca is the country’s monetary hub, where Moroccan business come to earn their fortunes. Populated by beautiful Moorish buildings this city combines French colonial design with traditional Moroccan style. Once used by Pirates to store their treasures, Casablanca is now a modern and sophisticated city.

The imperial city of Fez has stood in the North of Morocco for thousands of years. It boasts elaborately decorated architecture, an historic medina and long history steeped in culture, art and music. Tourists will walk through the high walled streets and watch the locals as they go about their daily processions, entering the tomb of Fez’s founder Moulay Idriss II. A city where time appears to have stopped, Morocco’s imperial past is experienced here.

The blue city of Chefchaouen is an experience like none other. There are several theories as to why the city was painted blue, with the popular reason being that it helped keep away the pesky mosquitos. Another popular opinion for the cobalt hue is that Jews introduced it when they migrated from Andalusia. The blue is said to symbolise the sky and the heaven, as a reminder to lead a spiritual life. This beautiful, unique city is a big tourist attraction and is an extremely magical place to visit.

Essaouira, famous for its bright and breezy Atlantic coast line. This laid back, hippie seaside town is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the major Moroccan cities. The medina, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2001, is a popular tourist destination and famous for its number of riads. Essaouira is also renowned for its artisan industries, most notably its inlaid cabinet work. Essaouira also has an extremely busy port which welcomes tourists from across the world.
