Morocco Desert Tour

Discover the beauty of southern Morocco and explore the Sahara, the Dades Valley and visit the Todgha Gorges

The 4-day tour begins in Marrakech, one of the great cities of the Maghreb and founded almost a thousand years ago. Situated on the edge of the Sahara Desert, this bustling city is full to the brim of street entertainment, shopping and local living. Famed for its pink pise palaces and framed by the snow-capped mountains of the High Atlas, the souks and street entertainment of Marrakech are renowned the world over.

On this 4-day tour travellers will experience the nomad crossings, Rose Valley and two-tone Kasbahs which make the Dades Valley a once-in-a-life excursion. The overnight stay in the valley will entice the imagination. Dotted with oasis and mudbrick palaces, the Dades Valley is renowned for its numerous Kasbahs. Guides will help travellers pick out some of the best views.

Another highlight of this tour is the trip to the Todgha Gorges. The Todgha Gorges are a series of limestone river canyons, or wadi, in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Trekking through the gorges is a sublime experience and travellers will witness the creation of a 300m deep fault which has split the orange limestone into a deep ravine. Rushing through the ravine are crystal clear waters which cut through the gorges in majestic fashion.
