The villagers live in houses built from mud and stone and live in large family groups.
Every year the villagers celebrate the Festival of the Rose- making it the best time of year to come to the valley. Taking place in Kelaat M’Gouna the festival celebrates the rose in all its various local forms. The festival features music, food and entertainment and brings life and enjoyment to the little village.
